Our Five
Step Investment Approach
- Step One:
Market Analysis.
Our primary market indicators, which have been in use for
more than 40 years, measures the overall risk in the market. This
dictates whether we are on offense (capital appreciation) or defense
(capital preservation). (What

- Step Two:
Sector Analysis.
We then examine each industry sector to determine which, if
any, offer the best chance of success. Industry sectors, like the
seasons, move in and out of favor. We want to be in the most favored
sectors and to avoid the least favored ones.
- Step Three:
Fundamental Analysis.
We then look to find the best companies in the favored
sectors. (What is
fundamental analysis?)
- Step Four:
Technical Analysis.
We then applying our Point & Figure craft to these
fundamentally sound names. We're looking for names that possess a
positive Relative Strength and show an above average probability of
outperforming the market. In other words, we are looking for
investments where demand exceeds supply. Once found, we then
determine each position's entry and exit points. (What
is technical analysis?)
- Step Five:
Risk Management.
The last step is managing the portfolio. We do this using our
proprietary state of the art risk management tools.
